Spencer joined the Allen Capital Group in 2001. He has 10 years experience in private equity, corporate advisory and investment banking firms in Australia and the United Kingdom.

Since 2004, Spencer has worked at Allen Capital Private Equity.  His responsibilities include the identification, assessment of new investment opportunities, and the portfolio management of investee companies.

Between 2001 and 2004, Spencer worked for Allen Capital, involving mergers and acquisitions for private equity firms, Capital raisings, restructuring and turnaround scenarios, and business valuation scenarios. His industry experience includes both public and private companies covering the manufacturing, industrial and media sectors.

Prior to joining Allen Capital in 2001, Spencer worked in the capital markets division of Merrill Lynch in London.

Spencer has a Bachelor of Business Degree from The University of Technology, Sydney, and a Graduate Diploma of Applied Finance and Investment at Kaplan Professional.
